Shivery Shakes •Weird Weather
Shivery Shakes stand to set themselves apart with their own blend of fuzzy, surfy music, as sharp with pop hooks as it is smooth with reverb tinged melodies.
Their new album ‘Weird Weather’ is a neon-laced night-drive of a record with electric melodies.

ABOUT THE BAND:
Shivery Shakes were sewn together by escapism and happenstance by years playing together in the local Austin music scene. Their first releases in 2012 and 2013 were summery pop manifestos on how to party like a beach bum even if you’re landlocked. They broadened their horizons and tightened up their sparkily melodies for their 2015 debut LP Three Waves and a Shake. The album was met with acclaim from national and regional publications, and the band went out on five jaunts across the states on their debut release.
After touring their debut album extensively, Shivery Shakes took interest in a departure from their initial sound, with fuzzier hooks and darker themes. After a year and a half of evolving new songs and sounds, the band spent two years in the studio crafting a new album. Shivery Shakes have completed their second full-length effort - Weird Weather. The new full-length effort brandishes the same level of musical sensibility, while exploring depths that are as haunting as they are inviting.
Shivery Shakes is William Glosup, Marcus Haddon, Jack Thornton, & Christopher Ritchie.
